With artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly being used in trading, our speaker for October is Michael Barna, the founder of Trading System Lab (TSL), who will talk about his company's trading system that uses Machine Learning to make trading decisions. This system provides a complete set of tools that can be configured infinite number of ways and for different trading strategies, yet it requires no programming. This presentation will start with an introduction to mechanical trading strategies and move through the concepts used to write strategies and then finish up with a demo and discussion of the TSL Platform and advanced features.
Who Should Attend: This talk should be of interest to traders who want to learn about using AI for trading and everyone else who is increasingly trading against them. It will cover different AI strategies as well as trading simulation, back testing, robustness and results.

About our Speaker
Michael L. Barna is Trading System Lab's founder and President. He earned a BS in Mathematics from Arizona State University and a Masters in Astronautical and Aeronautical Engineering from Stanford University. He has/had a Series 3 Commodity Brokers License and a Series 30 Branch Office Manager License. His background included work as a Senior Vice President for Regency Stocks and Commodity Fund, LP, and engineering and management positions in several large Fortune 500 defense firms where he developed ramjet, missile, and space based laser defense systems.
His work for defense companies included the use of AI algorithms as a means to enhance system guidance and control systems. He utilized similar AI techniques in the design of modern Trading Systems and has pioneered AI and Trading System integration.
Mike has created numerous popular and successful Trading Systems that are employed by fund managers, brokerage houses and traders worldwide His Legacy Trading System "Big Blue" is ranked one of the Top Ten Trading Systems of All Time as published in the Book: "The Ultimate Trading Guide", by Hill, Pruitt and Hill. Mr. Barna is the creator and author of one of the most popular Legacy day trading systems ever written, The RMESA Trading System, which is his first trading system to include a basic Neural Network approximation filter. Mike is the author of the book: "The Big Blue 2 Trading System."
